The Sisters of Mercy were founded by Catherine McAuley, who had used her large inheritance to build a refuge for homeless and abused women on Baggot Street in Dublin, Ireland in 1824. Our doctors, nurses and staff and the service they provide our patients are the most important elements in living out our mission. Each day, we are reminded of the values inspired by the Sisters of Mercy and each day we continue to bring them to life in all that we do.
