RMC is hiring for a System Administrator with a Security+ CE to support our Naval customer in Charleston, SC. The System Administrator will work with a team of highly talented individuals supporting RDT&E network connected and standalone laboratories.  Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, assisting in the management of a Windows domain, desktop support, virtual machine builds/deployments, supporting system integration in an RDT&E environment, troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining various lab applications, and configuration management. Additional responsibilities include the troubleshooting of networked equipment. 

The selected candidate will be supporting a systems engineering environment and will require experience installing and maintaining 3rd party tools and applications in a DoD environment. Specific experience with IBM Rational Products is helpful, but not required.  The selected applicant must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and have excellent written and oral communications skills. 

The selected candidate will have experience implementing single-sign-on functionality using Citrix or an alternate approved method in a DoD environment.  Linux experience is preferred, but not required. Additional experience providing Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) is preferred, but not required.

A Bachelors of Science in Information Technology or Related Field and two or more (2+) years of system administration experience is required.  Security + CE/DoD 8570.01 IAT-II or IAT-III compliance and knowledge of Navy IT/IA policies and procedures is required. 

Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
