Essential Role and Responsibilities
The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall analyze customer requirements, available training methods and material, and facilities to design the required curriculum for classroom instruction. The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the course textbooks and materials. The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall manage the instructional content for the assigned topic area. The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall develop and deliver new content and make recommendations for revisions of existing topic area content that is covered by this contract. The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall conduct practical exercise in a laboratory environment, conduct student study hall periods and provide tutoring/remedial instruction.
Essential Duties
- Incorporate knowledge of Wireless and Mobile Technologies vulnerabilities into training materials
- Incorporate the impact of changing Wireless and Mobile Technologies into training materials
- Assess student knowledge, skills and abilities to gauge student proficiency in topic area
- Apply industry best practices in adult learning principles and theories
- Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities
- Conduct courses relevant to the assigned topic area
- Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes
Qualifications
EDUCATION | - An Associate Degree in Computer Science or a directly related field and two (2) years work experience in the specified topic area (Wireless and Mobile Technologies)
- In lieu of an Associate Degree, a minimum of four (4) years applied practical work experience, within the last six (6) years, in the specified topic area (Wireless and Mobile Technologies)

EXPERIENCE | - Two (2) years’ experience, within the last three (3) years in preparing and presenting skills-based instruction to adults in the specified topic area to include facilitating student participation through role playing or operational simulations
- Formal, documented training in a web-based or distance-learning teaching technologies, to include online forums and multimedia presentations (e.g., Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal)
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite of products (EXCEL, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)

- Communication skills - able to communicate in a clear, articulate, and professional manner on a daily basis via written and oral communications with customer contracting representatives, Silotech employees, and subcontract/teaming partner contracting organizations.
- Interpersonal and Customer Relations skills – able to maintain a professional and courteous attitude with employees and third-party individuals at all times to resolve conflicts and address any issues within the contractual structure and regulations.
- Planning/Organizational skills - able to prioritize work activities, use time efficiently and work through projects in a self-motivated manner balancing efforts between contracts, vendor agreements, and pricing requests.
- Adaptability – able to adapt to rapid changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Problem-solving skills – able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; able to apply independent judgment on a regular basis in making decisions.
- Time Management skills – able to use time effectively in a semi-supervised fashion, pursuing other activities when regular duties have reduced in volume; able to complete projects in a timely manner. Will work with occasional supervision over repetitive tasks. New duties or project type tasks may receive “strict” or “direct” supervision, depending upon the nature of the task(s).
