Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3) is currently looking for a Business Analyst (Claims) consultant for a contract opening with one of our largest Healthcare clients located in Franklin, TN/ 100% Remote!

This is a Contract Opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO visa sponsorship or C2C eligibility for this position.  The details are below.

Business Analyst (Claims)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Delivers specific delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the Application Development job family.
• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• With this knowledge, develops or modifies more complex information systems.
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties, as necessary.
• Competent to work in most phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Assists in design, supports test planning and execution, assists with documentation.
• Gathers information for problem identification.
• Assists with training materials.
• Completes day-to-day Business Analysis tasks without immediate supervision but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
• Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues.
• Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members.

Schedule Notes: Work will be fully remote within the US.

Qualifications:

• Proven critical thinking skills.
• MC400 Claims Adjudication Engine knowledge is highly sought
• Accomplished in business and technical requirements, claims lifecycle knowledge, database management systems (DB2, SQL Server), creation and execution of test plans/use cases, electronic claim file development and transmission, written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, claims adjudication framework, and industry standard claims data types and editing rules (ICD, CPT/HCPC, Rev Codes, NCCI).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Agile, SQL querying, Microsoft office suite and client facing communication skills.
