Position Duties
• Responsible for the creation of a Configuration Management Database Book (CMDB Book) for all clients.
• Responsible for the updating of the CMDB book on a quarterly basis to document any changes to the clients’ technology infrastructure.
• Work with Technical Staff to identify potential technology improvements projects for clients.
• Work with the Technical Staff and Business Development Staff to define and write the business requirements of each improvement projects.
• Create the Technology Improvement Project Plan for each client on a semi-annual basis.
• Assist in project coordination and implementation.
• Develop the successful and timely delivery of technical solutions to commercial clients in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
• Document the technical infrastructures of the client and write Technology Improvement Plans (TIPs).
• The Technical Writer works closely with FedSolutions’ technical and business development staff.
• Work with Chief Technology Officer, System/Network Administrators (Tier 3), Senior Systems Analysts (Tier 2), Junior Systems Analysts (Tier 1), and account executives to develop coherent and comprehensive Technology Improvement Plans (TIPs).
Requirements
• Master’s Degree in Information Systems Technology
• Must have knowledge/experience of technical tools and systems like: C, C++, SQL, Oracle, Access, Windows and UNIX.
