Internship Details
What is the Booz Allen Summer Games?
The Summer Games is an intensive, 10-week paid internship program that simulates a real-world startup accelerator. Your mission? Develop breakthrough ideas and solutions for our clients’ most pressing problems.
As an intern, you’ll be paired with Booz Allen mentors and assigned to a cross-functional team where you’ll work together to bring your idea to life using techniques like design thinking, agile development, and rapid prototyping.
After 10 weeks, you’ll gather with other Summer Games interns at the annual Challenge Cup Conference where you’ll have a chance to meet leaders from across the firm, present your solution to a panel of judges, and compete for the coveted Challenge Cup.
What kinds of projects will I work on?
The only limit is your imagination! We know that good ideas can come from anyone—no matter their level of experience. Need some inspiration? Our Summer Games interns have tackled problems ranging from human trafficking to the opioid crisis and unmanned aerial vehicle safety.
Who can apply to the Summer Games?
Summer Games internships are open to college undergraduates of all levels, with preference given to rising seniors. Students currently enrolled in STEM programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
